Since casinos are based on the idea that the house always wins in the long run, has anybody found good systems for beating the odds or at least breaking even?

I know that I avoid slots, roulette and keno like the plague (unless a daily/weekly task makes me play them). I find the most profitable games are video poker (if you learn which card combos to keep for best odds), craps (if you can figure it out) and poker (if you have some bluffing skill). I mostly end up losing at blackjack as well.

I also find that video poker is a good consistent (although slow) way of earning RP while staying even with your chips.

I found BINGO to be the only game in the casino that pays out RP when you lose (the only exception is FREE BINGO). On the occasion that you actually win, it pays out a jackpot that includes a stack of chips. I played this game for the first month and earned enough RP to make it to VIP 2. This month I made it to VIP 3 and tier 40 for BINGO. Once you've made it to VIP status the dailies/weeklies get a bonus. I've never bought any chips, but the auto-dabber does come in handy when playing along with friends (in party) and to take a quick bathroom break. When I don't play BINGO, I concentrate on tiering up the other casino games (every fifth tier there's a bonus). I didn't realize bingo was that good for getting RP so I have mostly ignored it.. i'll have to play more now.

I got to VIP 1 using video poker, craps and regular poker. I've never bought chips yet either and I manage to maintain a chip total that fluctuates between 200,000 and 300,000.

500,000 is the highest I've made playing bingo, slots, and machine games. I've tiered up most of the games except baccarat, roulette, craps and poker.

On PS4, doing the same thing i have lost chips, so it's more a case of watching and knowing when to play and when to back out. A good tip is to start off and get a stack of chips on the table, that stacks shows what you have won if you get a good start, then play with that stack, if it goes back out, don't keep playing with a empty stack.

The only truly reliable to way to earn chips is poker. Its the only game in the casino in which a player's skill will reliably allow them to make a profit. Sometimes you will still get bad beats and bad luck, but in general the better poker players will win more often.

As for more traditional table games like Roulette, Blackjack, War etc.. they are based off their real-life casino counterparts. Therefore they all have a house advantage associated with them. Roulette has a ~5% house advantage because of 0 and 00. War has a smaller house edge of about 2-3%. Optimal blackjack play has a very small house advantage, but many players do not play optimally. If you know how to count cards, then that will help you overcome the house edge, possibly even into profit.

Our slot machines are generally loose by Vegas standards. All of them have around a 4-5% house advantage (in vegas this is sometimes termed 95% payout).

I agree with Tsunade. Slots is by far the worst game to get RP in. It's a shame too because I really enjoy playing it. It's quite mindless, and a good way to wind down since I don't have to do much but press autospin. I just don't play it unless it's a task since the RP payout is hardly worth it with the big risk you running of losing all your chips.

So after a bunch more playing, I am finding the best way to stay close to break even and grinding RP is max bets on video poker (if you have low chips to start) or max bets on blackjack (especially in VIP) if you have a lot of chips. I find that bingo does generate chips from just playing, but not a lot and it takes a long time per game. Poker is great IF you can actually win consistently. Free online casino practice play. Craps is ok for some big wins, but is also risky. Video blackjack is ok. Big6, Keno, Roulette, Slots are basically chip eaters. War is horrible, just because it IS SO SLOW to play for so little return. And it's like flipping a coin. Betting on ties is pointless as they hardly ever come up. (yesterday I played war for a little over an hour, waiting for a tie, to try and complete my daily task 'go to war'.. I HATE WAR!)
